Suitable for cables up to 0.53 inches (13.5mm) in diameter, it features a robust, impact-resistant plastic housing available in white or black. The design includes a captive nut in the base for easy assembly. A key feature is the tapered rubber bung, ensuring a watertight seal. This bung comes with drill tubes, enabling customization of the seal diameter as needed. Additionally, the seal is equipped with a thick rubber base gasket, enhancing its sealing capabilities. The Seaview horizontal cable seal is rigorously tested and meets IPX6 and IPX8 standards for waterproofing.
Importantly, the seal can accommodate multiple cables. Each cable requires its own hole within the seal, with a minimum of 0.125 inches of rubber around each hole to maintain integrity and effectiveness.
